The grantmaking process fosters an interactive working relationship that is supportive of the grantees' mission and goals. The process begins with a letter of inquiry to determine if the organization and program match Whitecap's areas of interest. If the foundation is interested, the organization is contacted for a site visit to discuss how the grantee and Whitecap might work together to support the potential grantee's program goals.
