We also encourage a networking community among our grantees for the purpose of sharing information and expertise. GRANTMAKING The Whitecap Foundation works closely with grantees to understand their program and organizational needs. To meet their needs, we make more than one million dollars in grants annually in the following areas: children's after school programs, job training, computer literacy and parenting education. The grantmaking process fosters an interactive working relationship that is supportive of the grantees' mission and goals.EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT ACADEMY The Whitecap Foundation developed the Executive Management Academy (EMA) to provide leadership training and technical assistance for its grantees. The academy is a participant-driven program that provides learning and networking opportunities and initiatives. |
